The loop, four steps.
Build the load.
Recipe, components, charge, seating, case prep, and rifle setup stay tied together before the range day.
Shoot it.
Load development takes a Sigma8 target, steel, or your own paper. Qual8 finds the holes for you on Sigma8 paper; on the other two you mark each hit. The Load Qualified badge is earned on Sigma8 paper.
Capture velocity and target results.
Record velocity, upload target photos, confirm shots, and keep group size, mean radius, centroid, and session records together.
Optimize the next iteration.
Qual8 uses patent-pending technology to help decide whether to repeat, refine charge, tune seating, broaden the search, or attempt Load Qualification.

Did the target improve?
Compare group size, mean radius, centroid, and point-of-impact movement across the load states you actually tested.
Did velocity support it?
SD and ES can support the story, but they do not replace target proof. Qual8 keeps those signals together instead of letting one number overrule the result too early.

When the load is ready, qualify it.
